THE BEAUTIFUL GAME⚽ :'ITS TIME FOR A NEW CHALLENGE' - HAZARD BIDS FAREWELL

Image
'ITS TIME FOR A NEW CHALLENGE' - HAZARD BIDS FAREWELL Eden Hazard admitted he was likely to have just played his last game for Chelsea just moments after inspiring Maurizo Sarri's side to a 4-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League final. A brace from the Belgian star, combined with Arsenal's second-half collapse, contributed to the success in Baku , but he told BT Sport  that it's unlikely to be at Stamford Bridge next season. The play-maker, who has been strongly linked with a summer switch to Real Madrid, told BT Sport: "I think it's a goodbye but in football you never know. I have made my decision already and now I'm waiting on both clubs. "My dream was to play in Premier League, I did this for seven years in one of the biggest clubs in the world so now maybe it's time for a new challenge." Speaking about the game itself, Hazard added: "In the first half both teams had a bit of stress because the final is something big

LIFE AS IT IS: All Your Perfects

Image
ALL YOUR PERFECTS Everyday you would walk down the street and look to the other side of the road, where little children play their hearts out. Yearning for yours, you would feel the tears as they take over your eyelids. Every new treatment you have tried, from IVF to fertility treatments but nothing seems to stick. Years before the walks, you were a young lady. Bright and sunny eyed. Best of your class, full of life and the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Those years, you called me baby and I;darling, sometimes rubbing my moustache along your arms which weirdly used to be your ticklish spot. I remember the exact moment we met and even though many would say it's untrue,it did really feel like a Bollywood movie. The slow motion and the sexy way you had removed the hair blocking your face. I remember everything about that day and the days after and never once have I regretted meeting you. I wished you would realize that this pain is not yours alone and that the day I

AUTOCARE WITH DAMILARE: Car Smoke and What it Means

Image
CAR SMOKE AND WHAT IT MEANS Hi TTB followers, welcome to Autocare One of the ways to know the well-being of your car is from the colour of the exhaust, if the emission of the exhaust is nearly undectable your car engine is operating well, but if the exhaust smoke is visible it indicates the car is malfunctioning and it takes a skilled auto technician (mechanic) to work on it. If your car emits any smoke upon starting the engine and clears up as the engine warms to operating temperature don't worry that is normal for some cars, but if smoke continues after the warm up, there's cause for concern. The colour of the smoke indicates the type of problem of the engine Blue or Grey smoke: Thick blue or Grey smoke indicates the vehicle is burning oil, that shows oil has found its way into the combustion chamber, Oil is escaping from its intended passageways within the engine and is being burned along with fuel, this will, cause an increase in hydrocarbon emission. OPENED MY EYES: He Seees

Image
He Sees Hello there! I hope you are good. Welcome to another episode of "Opened My Eyes". It's been very busy lately for me but I thank God I can still share His Word with you. I pray you are blessed by this. God sees you my brother. God sees you my sister. He sees your struggle to follow Him. He sees the desire of your heart to follow Him. He sees all of your experiences, good and "bad" and He is working everything out to favour you ultimately. I just want to encourage someone who is like me out there: overwhelmed by all the activities competing for your attention; who has to deliver on their 9-5 but refuses to let the work of the Lord suffer because of that; who feels tired very often and has to cry to God for strength for each day. You are not alone and you certainly will not go unrewarded. We serve a God who does not owe. Nobody has ever partnered with God and lost. Your service is worship. Do not be discouraged. Now is the time to sow those seeds

LIFE AS IT IS: Eat Your Heart

Image
Eat Your Heart “You're beautiful” He always said to them. That word beautiful could bring lot of emotions. Especially when they never felt that way before. He always went to the chubby ones. Those whose self esteem could been found at the bottom of a pit. The ones who felt they had no one and didn't think anyone loved them. It was so easy. Some people actually thought being on social media was safe, and it had been so easy to find those kind of people. The first girl he had met had been on facebook. He name had been “Beauty”. “What kind of parent named their daughter Beauty” he had thought. Especially when she was fat and had acne all over her body. It had been the easiest. The other had come hardier but Beauty walls had been so easy to breached. He had commented on her profile picture, telling her cute her nose was. That was the truth of course. It had been difficult to find a striking feature but her nose had look better than the rest. She had replied with an emoji.

THE BEAUTIFUL GAME⚽

Image
ROAD TO BAKU There are two of the English Premier League's best supported clubs, separated by less than 13 kilometers -- but both will have to travel over 4,000 km away from home to play the Europa League final. London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal meet in an all-English Europa League Final at the end of May, with plenty at stake for both clubs. Maurizio Sarri is yet to win a trophy during his managerial career, but is now just one match away from ending a chaotic season with tangible success. Sarri appeared to be in danger of being ousted at numerous points of his debut year in England, but a Europa League triumph - coupled with the club's improbable third-placed Premier League finish - would represent a fine campaign for the Italian. As for Arsenal, finishing fifth in the table means victory in Baku is a must for Champions League football next season - but thankfully for Gunners fans, Unai Emery is a Europa League specialist having won the trophy with Sevilla in 2014, 20

WALLFLOWER : BROKEN EPISODE 8

Image
Hello TTB followers, it feels so good to be back and I have missed you all. Today's episode is going to be an interesting one. So, sit tight and enjoy.          BROKEN           Episode 8           (Recap) I never saw any dark storms brewing. I was satisfied and fulfilled. But you know that calmness that comes before a storm strikes? I should have known better. It all started on the first day of my job (after graduating), while I was hurrying to photocopy a file that was urgently needed for the meeting to continue, I saw him. He was all sunshine and rainbows. He was wearing a ref suit that sat well with his tan skin, a haircut that screams "look at me", well trimmed beards that looked as dark as coal and shiny. I imagined myself touching and feeling them. For the first time in my life, I was dumbstruck! " Hello " he said. I had to shake myself out of my reverie and even though I couldn't find my voice I managed to mutter a weak "Hello&qu

PARADIGM WITH RYGLES: Burned Episode 7

Paradigm Burned Episode 7 "I should have just bowed and shut my trap" Chi says as Moet gives her a tray for her to balance while trying to dance, "I don't understand what me being an assassin has to do with tray dancing or whatever this is " the tray falls for the hundredth time as Moet sighs, "You should focus more on the task at hand instead of whining every chance you get, and I don't have to explain myself to you every damn time, Chi slips and the tray makes its way to the floor, Moet frustratingly stares her down "I think you need some sort of motivation so you can understand that this is not a joke, i dare you to make that mistake again and let's see what I can come up with to ensure that everytime you look at me, you shiver with fear "Chi looks at her frightened of the smirk on Moet's face, "I swear, I'm not doing this on purpose, I just can't get it to stick, I don't think my head is flat enough" sh

LETTER TO ME ( Recommended post)

TWO LINES AND A CANVASS Mr. X stood and pondered for the better part of about 40mins. He had his left hand supporting his chin. He tried to make his mind stop reeling, but he couldn't help it. It had been a struggle to not be able to get a complete image in his mind before putting it on a canvass. And that worried him. What kind of artist, only had the first two lines of a painting for 9 weeks. He was due to turn it in, in another 4 weeks. But his mind couldn't conceive any more than what was already on the canvass. He strode to his chest freezer and grabbed a beer. Maybe that would make him stop thinking so much. He picked up his phone and called the only number he retained by heart. "Well, if it isn't Leo Da Vinci himself" came the voice. "Hey, did you know I'm yet to get an autograph" "Good afternoon to you too" Mr. X replied and drank from the bottle "Yeah yeah. What's up man? I don't get called at 3pm every day

TUESDAY TALKS WITH GBEMI: Know Your Rights

Image
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!!! (PART 1) Hello guys, welcome to Tuesday Talks with Gbemi, the first of its kind!!! Today we will be discussing on the basic fundamental human rights of a Nigerian... I'm sure most of us know we have rights as humans in Nigeria but we are not familiar with them or we ignored these rights. We have many fundamental rights as humans but today, we will be discussing just some of them especially the ones that tend to be ignored or easily forgotten.... The first one I'll be talking on is the *right to life*. Everyone has the right to life and no one should be deprived of this intentionally. The only exception to this is if a person is found guilty of a grievous criminal offence and is sentenced to death(section of 33 of the 1999 constitution). Mind you, a person is not guilty of any offence until proved otherwise by the court of law. Another fundamental right is the right to freedom of movement. Every citizen of Nigeria is entitled to move freely without restri

BLOODY COMPACT (Short Fiction) By Hamz On one of those  when friends decided to act like bums and ladies refused to come over to your place because they were clairvoyant enough to suss you’d be up to no good if they stepped in, I found myself in a shoddy, sordid pigsty of a bar run by an apology of a lady who was as fat as one could be without bursting. The stale air hung heavy with the thick odour of smelly armpits, the unpleasant combination of the reek of cheap beer and month-old tobaccos and the fetid, stomach-churning smell of something quite in distinct semblance to the stench of horny male goats. The faulty speakers screeched and blared out ancient music, like loud-mouthed implacable vermins throwing tantrums. Every now and then, a brawl broke out and the fighters, languid from their excessive intake of beer, were thrown out, but not before their pockets were searched and the little money they had, stolen. The ladies, well versed in the ways of sin and incorrigible in th

STYLE ZONE WITH ISTYLE- Dress for the weather

Image
Dress for the weather! Good day to you, my lovely readers! As we all know, the rains are upon us and this time, it did not come to play, which is why it is important that you are prepared for the weather and while being conscious of the weather, you should remain Stylish! Layering! This is the best trick you can employ this season..... Layering is a great way to pair those pieces that wouldn't look good on their own, this would in turn, birth an awesome look and help keep you warm. Extra Slippers! Why is this necessary? You don't want to ruin those amazing shoes that cost a fortune by walking in water with them, so an extra slippers would come in handy, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should go around in your bathroom flip flops...... Be creative and put on a pair of stylish water proof slides etc..... Umbrella Personally i don't go around with umbrellas and i get drenched alot! But since i love you all, i strongly advice that you take

THE BEAUTIFUL GAME: ENGLAND'S DOMINANCE: MONEY OR COMPETITION?

ENGLAND'S DOMINANCE: MONEY OR COMPETITION? England's Premier League has claimed a clean sweep of all four places in the finals of Europe's two club competitions as the most commercially successful league in the world finally translated its financial power into success on the field. Liverpool will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League while in the Europa League Arsenal take on Chelsea. No country has ever produced the finalists for the Champions League and the Europa League in the same year before now. The Premier League's money has been invested in some of the top players in the world. According to FIFA's 'Global Transfer Report' in 2018, $5.14 billion was spent on players by Europe's top five leagues, with English clubs alone spending $1.98 billion on transfers from abroad. But while player purchases, such as the 76 million pounds Liverpool spent on Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk and 56 million on Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker, have

LIFE AS IT IS

Hope The boy at the park had called her beautiful and for some seconds, she had stare at herself inside the fountain, trying to see what he saw. All she had seen was her lost self. Once upon a time, she had called herself cute. Not beautiful, but her long dark hair could make her stand out. Back then, she was the wife and the mother. Back then, she had felt loved. Maybe, a tiny bit. She had met Tony in her engineering class in the University. She had been one of the few ladies who were studying the course. And while most of her female counterpart carried the nerd look, she had been different. Lively, fun and so on.... I guess that was one of the things that had made the guys in her class attracted to her. Tony on the hand had been indifferent. She had learned he had come from a low-income family and came in through student loans. At first, she had found it difficult to get his attentions. But then, she had learned the tricks. She had study as hard as she could and when
