To Tithe or not to Tithe???? (Lets Discuss)

Image
Happy Sunday!!!! and happy last day of the year!!! Whoop whoop we made it and its by his grace. Its 2018 and no doubt we are super excited a new year always holds so much promise and excitement for everyone and there has been this trend online "This nonsense must stop in 2017" where people say something they don't like and end it with that phrase and i think the church has a few of that and even with the consistent arguing over the year about tithing i don't think it should even be considered as something that should come to an end in 2017. In a simple sentence i'll say this unbelievable arguement is just being spurred by a group of people who don't pay tithe, complaining about paying tithe!!!! But then this is a platform where we can air our views so lets get started what do you think about this "spiritual law" Tithing... To tithe or not to tithe.... Please do drop your comments below we love to read from you!!!

Hello fam, good morning its that time of the day where we discuss the hottest topics and today we are talking about the issue of this law student who successfully scaled through law school but wasn't called to bar because she refused to take off her hijab, which is not allowed, i thought by now this issue would have died down cause its been some weeks but it has not stopped trending this goes to show that it actually a big issue in Nigeria religion vs profession... The name of the lady is Miss Firdaus Amasa and she graduated from unillorin -Many people are of the school of thought that she should have taken the hijab off since she was not the only Muslim, and they are saying is she holier than the others. -others say if she wasn't comfortable with the rules why study law, (citing that they do a course called ehics) -some where like while will a hijab stop them from calling her to bar, which she she was qualified for -Rumour even has it that her father is a lawyer and would have

WHY I WRITE BY BOMI EHIMONY: NEW SERIES

Image
WHY I WRITE BY BOMI EHIMONY In 2013, when I did it for the first time, it felt surreal, like I was doing something that actually mattered. It felt like making an impact on people's lives and this was all the more beautiful because I was getting this feeling for the first time in my life. Writing made me feel important. The first story I wrote was set in a fictional village I called Okunlewe, it was about the killing of twins. I titled it "My Mother's Daughter" and it held more than 2500 words. After I finished that story,I knew I was ready to take on the world. I have written many more stories and have been published in places that I would never have dreamed of. Then I started and finished "Dear Ella" , my first novella. Even though Dear Ella is presently stuck in a limbo, I have never been prouder of anything in my whole life as I have been of writing Ella. So why do I write? The first time I read J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in Rye", I
