MAXIMIZING RELATIONSHIPS



I will like to define relationship for the purpose of this article as the connection of people by virtue of short or long term interaction that has developed into a network. 


I've realized that most of the people we ever met & stayed connected to in life were people we met in school; either at primary, secondary or tertiary level. The other people we met are from neighborhood, church & the rest but whichever way a relationship has been established. 


How we handle those moments we spent together affects the profitability and future of that relationship. Most of the favor & connection you'll get at pivotal moments in life are from long term relationships because life won't give you the luxury of time to build anything tangible that moment, what becomes your saving grace is the investment you've made in past relationships. 


We must deliberately invest in present relationships because our future lays in it, the future of our children & family is in it. Someone can get a big break with ease because of a healthy relationship. We must value people, value every moment spent & deliberately invest in people. 



Remember, life is all about relationship. Man was created to interact because at the end of the day we'll be asked the big question, who do you know?? 


I'll finish up with this story of a teacher & a boy. 


Teacher: You have to study hard, because a good job depends on a good grade. 


Boy: Sorry, my brother said it is not what you know it is who you know. 


Teacher: And who does your brother know? 


Boy: Nobody. That's why he doesn't have a job.  😂😂😂

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION The year is into full swing already Tellrheaders, but for all we have missed so far, I wish you a Happy New Year. There are a lot of things that come with the new year - resolutions, tasks etc. However, one must be inspired to achieve. For inspiration, where do you look? The first movie of the Rocky series was born, produced out of a brilliant manuscripts written by a film actor who was struggling financially and had his backyard problems to solve.
