WADDUP FAM!!!!
Tell me something is a section of the blog is where we get to talk about different issues just the way they are. Here we tallk about everything from career, relationships, to african culture(homes), our different behaviours as humans, not minding our english or what other people think of our opinion, that's why its called an opinion right ?  So drop your comments and let's tell each other something!!!!
First up today is the topic abortion ghen ghen,  though i don't have my facts right and i don't anybody to attack me so am not going be calling particular numbers or percentages.
Alll of us if we want to be sincere with ourselves know that abortion has become an everyday thing in this country.  Though we are not justifying the fact that a lot of this people should have closed thier legs since they knew that they are not ready for the responsibilities that come with becoming mama baby but now that the deed has been done what is yhe way forward oo
is it right for the next step to be to remove the baby???
Is there any reason to justify this act???
Not to forget that our african culture and religious organizations do not help matters ooo,  some of them treat pregnant ladies as if.....  Words cannot describe this one
The number two something tthat i want us to discuss is this issue of legalizing abortion instead wasting this girls life and the children at the same time or since government has refused to provide social welfare plans that will help them survive the trauma caused by society for those 9months....somebody will say Nigerians never chop finish na pickin wey no gree hear word na im we we wan come spend for!!!
So lets, talk about this issue and decision that is killing our ladies daily!!

  1. Legalising abortion is not the best.some parameters can be put in place to allow it in some situations.also reproductive health education at an early age is highly recommended.

  2. She's already pregnant right? Well abortion is not advisable on so many levels, I believe she she have the child. But on another note, churches and parents shouldn't take the sex talk like it's forbidden, I believe our religious institutions should be more open to youths on these issues, because the more it is hidden, the more sought out it is, I believe parents and religious bodies should trash the issues properly as against just calling it a sin and you should run away from it

  3. I too can't advice any girl for abortion. Situations may seem hard, such as trying to keep d family's name, shame from friends and be respected. But it's better to bear this shame and have the baby cos babies are blessings from God. Who knows u might just b flushing ur last child, but God forbid it oo

  4. I don't support abortion either..because it is wrong. It involves taking the life of an innocent child, denying the unborn child a chance of existence.. Who knows if that child is carrying what it takes to make the lives of people better.abortion could also claim the life of both the baby mama n the baby if it isn't taken care of properly...most girls I've heard of had to pay for it with something.. Either they loose the chance of ever getting pregnant again or loose their Lives in the process or having to live with the trauma of killing their own seeds for the rest of their lives..to me oo if people around will still find out you had an abortion then what's the point why not just keep the baby, save the innocent child's life n save your life too since the deed has already been done.....I pray God give us ladies the wisdom to know what's right n also stand for what's right

  5. FIX YOUR MISTAKE........
Tell Me Something ; I'm A Young and Pregnant Nigerian Girl, Should I Abort?
This write up on abortion made me want to share my experience of last week...... So i went to this big pharmacy to visit my friend at her work place and i noticed that 60%of all the girls/young Ladies who came for pregnancy test all tested positive and it was so obvious that majority of them aren't ready to keep the pregnancy which brought me to ask these questions #WhyAbortion? #WhyNotFixYourMistake? #WhyNotAcceptYourResponsibility?
This is a short story of a beautiful girl who met this good looking Boy who promised her heaven and earth but was faced with reality when she got pregnant... The boy became a total stranger, her family was very disappointed in her, she had to drop out of school, of course .. Despite all odds, she stood strong, she accepted her mistake and was ready to fix it.... Single handedly she trained this baby girl of hers,When the baby was old enough to start school, she worked hard to put her in the best schools.. .. She(mother) went back to complete her education, she sacrificed everything for her child, see her through secondary, tertiary and even up to Master level... Now the girl born out of mistake became the pillar of her extended family, relatives run to her for help, she's become a role model to many people out there, she is now a VOICE...

What about Justin Bieber who happened to be the most successful teen star of all time, if his mother had aborted him few years ago, she wouldn't have become the mother of One of the famous musicians we have today......
The bottom line is this; abortion is never an option, the child you are planning to abort has done nothing wrong to deserve such cruelty, he/she is destined to be great... Who knows what she/he might become in life.... THAT CHILD IS A VOICE......................
Please, let's avoid unprotected sex if we know we aren't bold enough to accept and fix our mistakes....
Let's SAY NO TO UNPROTECTED SEX
    Let's SAY NO TO ABORTION.....

  6. A lot of people are saying don't abort, don't abort; I totally stand against abortion 101% but we can't say this until we are ready to accept these pregnant girls and stop calling them "those girls without home training".
They were told to keep themselves ,yes, they didn't listen, yes again;we need to understand that stigmatizing these girls for being pregnant while forcing them to carry the pregnancy will only make them hate these children for "destroying" their lives, which will end up making that child an unloved nuisance to the society. We need to sensitize people that there's no going back from the decision, this is not the time to say "I told U so" because it's this pointing of fingers that mostly leads these girls to abortion.
We should say no to abortion and provide ways these girls can survive.
So No to abortion and yes to giving these ladies reasons to keep d child.

  7. It a comes down to the orientation of our people. Yes, getting pregnant at an early age is wrong, but one thing with our parents and the environment we live in is that, once someone (your child) makes a mistake, we beat them down, we stigmatize them, we disown them, call them names, the consequences of making mistakes are so great that it almost literally end the child's life. That's why abortion is often considered first before anything, because that is easier to confront than the shame, disgrace that comes from coming out in the open. I'm strongly against abortion but, but I'm also against the stigmatization of those who are victims. Parents should be easy to talk to. Mistakes and all. They should be supportive no matter what. Doesn't mean you can go about making such mistakes over and over again.

  8. No to abortion.
    However it goes beyond that.
A lot of people face situations beyond them and it gets increasingly difficult to keep a baby. But I agree with the comments above, No condition other than a life threatening one should make a woman abort a baby. Life is hard. We should not make it harder.

  9. The phrase "the deed has been done" is pitiable, and self pity always leads to one committing the same sin, so let's hit it from the root where we can easily kill it! #NoSexBeforeMarriage.
But even though some married couples are not left out of this abortion thing, when and unwanted pregnancy show up so I will answer your question by saying, ABORTION IS MURDER! The truth is bitter but it must be said! Married couples can easily use birth control but It's high time we stop pampering this irresponsible act of out youths today, let them face the consequences of their irresponsibility!
    #say_no_to_abortion
