INSIDE LIFE WITH GBEMI: LETTER TO THE FAM 2: CONSISTENCY IS KEY

LETTER TO THE FAM 2: CONSISTENCY IS KEY

At the creche class the other day, the young kids were chanting the letters of the alphabets happily. They were reciting it over and over again. One of the kids asked, " Miss Tess why are you making us to recite them repeatedly?" So you won't forget them. She replied. On a tv show, people were asked to recite the anthem and pledge. Come and hear different kinds of lyrics of the national anthem.
It wasn't because they never knew the national anthem. It's because the last time most of them sang the national anthem was 20 years ago when they were in school. One of the lessons taught in a voice training class I attend was to continue practicing.  Practice indeed makes perfect.
"Ecclesiastes 9:10 says Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." Whatever skill you develop, whatever legal trade you learn or business you go into remember to be consistent in it and do it well.Consistency is not being perfect, it is simply refusing to give up. The Holy Book also says this, "Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank; Proverbs 22:29".
