THE SOJOURNER’S DAIRY: THE MYSTERY IN SIMPLICITY

The Sojourner's Diary: The Mystery in Simplicity

The beauty of life is in its absolute simplicity and yet full of mystery. One day you feel like this is the one true path you're walking on and on another day you feel like you've gone the absolutely wrong way. A wise man named Cole once said; "the good news is, nigga you came a long way, but the bad news is, nigga you went the wrong way". You get? You don't? I don't too. I don't even know what exactly I am writing on in this moment but follow me a few more steps on this sojourn and probably, we'll get to find our way.
Simple but Mysterious. The circumference of our knowledge is so infinitesimally inconsequential in the ever expanding circle of the unknown. So in this very chaotic universe, what brings you balance? For some, it's faith in a higher power, for others it's the love they give and the one they receive and for others it's a trillion other things. But there's a teeny itsy bitsy problem. You tend to surf through these equilibriums and never actually walk a single path but a labrynth spiralling in so many directions.
What do I mean? You see a 15 year old guy, just got preached to, born again and baptized in the Holy Ghost. Forgive me, I have to make my subject a Christian. The PK syndrome you know. If you know you know. So this boy is burning for the gospel and then at 17, he's in the University, joins the fellowship, still burning, active everywhere but then he realizes some of these excos he looked up to are actually burning trees, looting chics and doing shit.
Slowly he drifts away, buries himself in his art and in love and the closes off to the world. Starts finding an unwinding adventurous path. Starts hitting spliffs, and then takes on a completely different path. He sees the streets and he sees the demons and angels. He sees the world like a prism of different colors. Then he loses love and his world crashes. He rethinks his entire philosophy of life. He slowly but surely morphs into a new person. A man that has known hurt. A man who is not reckless. A man who never let's his guard down. He walks on and on and eventually finds himself at 50 wondering if he walked the right path. Even if he has gotten the world, he may still feel empty and probably it might be that everything he gets, he's at peace with or even maybe none of the dreams come true. And he crashes and he dies with only regrets. That would be fucked up wouldn't it? So you see, everything you think can bring balance in your life can change any moment. So what is the ultimate balance? It's peace. Been at absolute peace with every moment. Been at peace with the hurt and the wins, in tears and laughter. Been at peace with every step. Always constantly LOVING YOURS.
But oh well, who knows, I might be wrong. But try it out. Be at peace with every moment, even when the entire world may seem to think you've gone astray and if it eventually happens that they were actually right and you crash, be at peace with the fact that you did it your way. Wasn't the motivation you expected right? Oh well, it's the Sojourner's Diary so get used to it.
Well, if you read to this point, it's roll credits now. So I recently, dropped an audio and video spoken word poem titled MONALISA telling the story of the suffering of thousands or even millions of children in our world today. Check it out if you got the time. Bella Ciao! 🖤🖤🖤
