SOMETIMES WE ARE THE PROBLEM 

Hi and welcome to 'A glimpse of Hope' right here on your favorite blog the tellrhodes blog. This post will serve as our welcome back post after a very long break but well it's all for good. 

A story was told of a grandpa whose grandchildren while playing with him rubbed rotten cheese beneath his nose and he goes about complaining that the house was smelling and he went on and on. When he eventually stepped out, he exclaimed "the whole world stinks!" That's so outrageous, isn't it? But often times if you're not careful you can allow a little problem in your life to affect your whole world and eventually people around you. When it comes to admitting faults it's very difficult but we are champions in blaming others. Some of us has lost out on vital relationships because we've refused to search inwards, little faults here and little gossip there. 


As little as that anger issue is, it can affect your mental, emotional and social life. Get the trash out and set yourself free, you keep wondering why most of your relationship end in heart break and you keep complaining that "men are scum". Truthfully, men are one set of unique creatures but check yourself and be sincere and you'll discover that you need to adjust as well. The longer we keep moving with such mentality we impair our own growth and subsequently we become a source of concern to those around us. 

Sometimes we are the problem, our plain of perspection, ego, hospitality, tolerance, actions and reactions can either pull people away or bring them close to us.

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION The year is into full swing already Tellrheaders, but for all we have missed so far, I wish you a Happy New Year. There are a lot of things that come with the new year - resolutions, tasks etc. However, one must be inspired to achieve. For inspiration, where do you look? Lets take you back to the 70's, 1976 to be precise. The first movie of the Rocky series was born, produced out of a brilliant manuscripts written by a film actor who was struggling financially and had his backyard problems to solve. The actor and writer of this wonderful piece wrote the first manuscript in under twenty hours, after seeing the boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner. That actor/writer is Sylvester Stallone and today the Rocky franchise ( if I may call it so) is a recognized international movie with great acclaims, enough to earn Stallone a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame in a non-commissioned for playing the role of Rocky.
