BEYOND GOOD LOOKS AND OUTFIT APPEARANCE

A good looking guy or lady with a mad fashion sense is a head turner any day, any time, but we fail to take into account that that's not all that matters. Let's look at a few things that people tend to overlook:

1. Manicure and Pedicure: some guys think it's a ladies thing. Tah! Everybody is supposed to keep their nails neat, keeping it short or long is your business, but keep it clean regardless of your choice. While at it, you could invest in some products that keep your palms fresh and soft.

2. Hair: your hair shouldn't be rough for any reason my people, have a haircut and a new hair do when it's due. It totally lifts up your appearance and brings out your face. Ladies let's redo our cornrows when rough, it actually has an effect under that wig.

3. Inner wears: sometimes we overlook the power of good, neat, sweet smelling undergarments; I'm talking about singlets, boxers, briefs, tights, camisoles, etc. Most people care about just their outward appearance and it's not really fair to your body or to the items. Mishaps can happen anyday, anywhere and to anybody. Would you be proud if your inner wear saw the light of day in the presence of an audience???

4. Brush your teeth my people, keep good oral hygiene. Get some mints or gums to freshen your breath throughout the day.

5. Use deodorants: I can't emphasize this enough guys, it isn't that complicated, it's rude not to smell nice. Please think about yourself and your fellow humans out there, always smell nice.

If you add these to your fine boy/fine girl with mad slay persona, you'll always leave a good lasting impression.

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION The year is into full swing already Tellrheaders, but for all we have missed so far, I wish you a Happy New Year. There are a lot of things that come with the new year - resolutions, tasks etc. However, one must be inspired to achieve. For inspiration, where do you look? Lets take you back to the 70's, 1976 to be precise. The first movie of the Rocky series was born, produced out of a brilliant manuscripts written by a film actor who was struggling financially and had his backyard problems to solve. The actor and writer of this wonderful piece wrote the first manuscript in under twenty hours, after seeing the boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner. That actor/writer is Sylvester Stallone and today the Rocky franchise ( if I may call it so) is a recognized international movie with great acclaims, enough to earn Stallone a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame in a non-commissioned for playing the role of Rocky.
