Happy new year!!!!
What exactly does this mean to you? Just another day to some, a chance to eat jollof rice and chicken to some, an opportunity to start anew (I know, cliché). We hear stuff like why do people wait till new year to make new resolutions that would not last..... New year, new me bullshit. Calm down !!! New year means different things to different people and the fact that what new year means to you is different from how the other person takes new year doesn't make yours more or less important.

Whatever new year means to you, it's significant and it is a completion of  cycle that so many people couldn't make, you did and that means you have every reason to be grateful. Sure, things might not have turned out the way you wanted, but that's life! You are alive, breathing the air -polluted but still free all the same-, you can correct mistakes, fall and rise again, fall in and out of love, make mistakes and learn from them, forgive and be forgiven. It's the beauty of life, all the emotional rollercoaster life takes you on, the disappointments, the amazing surprises, the little acts of kindness taken by people you do not expect it from, the pain, the bliss, the joy, the sorrow, the tears and the laughter, the villains and the heroes in our stories, all part of our walk on earth.

Don't take the little things for granted, feel the joy, experience the love, be grateful for those that love and care about you. No one owes you shit (excuse me), don't feel entitled. What you have today might leave you faster than it came to you.... Don't let life pass you by, revel in what it has to offer, control what you can, be yourself and don't let anyone tell you differently, no one does you better than you!!!

The burned series will definitely continue, this is to welcome you to a new year.... Be excited, the year has a lot of packages for you, prepare to be amazed, hurt, disappointed, happy and a bunch of feelings that 2019 might introduce to you, kick ass (pardon moi), slay your demons, believe in you, dream big, have a crazy imagination, don't let people tell you what you can and can't do!!!

Be the best version of you this year, don't remain the same, take risks, be crazy, shoot shots, laugh at the storms, ride the wind and swim the waters because it's going to be one hell of a ride!!

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION The year is into full swing already Tellrheaders, but for all we have missed so far, I wish you a Happy New Year. There are a lot of things that come with the new year - resolutions, tasks etc. However, one must be inspired to achieve. For inspiration, where do you look? Lets take you back to the 70's, 1976 to be precise. The first movie of the Rocky series was born, produced out of a brilliant manuscripts written by a film actor who was struggling financially and had his backyard problems to solve. The actor and writer of this wonderful piece wrote the first manuscript in under twenty hours, after seeing the boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner.
