Today, we will be talking about "breaking away from societal norms"

In a world trying to make you believe that it is better to be closed, be nice. Be considerate. Be compassionate. Be the bigger person. Be tolerant. Be stronger than your heartbreak, your past and your pain. Be someone who knows how to love no matter how many times love has failed you. Be someone who knows how to be kind to a world that's known for being unkind.
In a world teaching you to be aloof, unattached and distant, be brave, vulnerable, attentive. Be the one who cares more. Be the one who says "I love you" first. Be the one who tries instead of the one who wonders what could have been. Be the one who knows how to live with a few bruises from getting knocked down instead of the one who is afraid of getting hurt and misses out on all the fun.
In a world trying to tell you to live a lie, live the truth. Life gets easier when you accept yourself and know who you really are; with your flaws, imperfections and mistakes. It gets easier once you stop trying to pretend to be someone else because that's just what the society favors or what people are drawn to. It gets easier when you start living according to what you want.
In a world trying to change your heart, learn how to fight for it. Learn how to keep spreading kindness, learn how to love harder because one thing is for sure, when this world ends, you won't remember the days you were cruel, heartless or scared. You will remember the times you fell in love, the memories that made you smile, the people who were there for you and the people you moved and inspired and loved along the way.
In a world that lacks empathy, remember your allegiance is to your peace of mind not their opinion of you. In a world that criticizes everything,don't go dimming your light because their eyes can't handle the shine.
When this world ends, you will only remember the love you shared and you will look back and realize how pointless everything else was.

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION The year is into full swing already Tellrheaders, but for all we have missed so far, I wish you a Happy New Year. There are a lot of things that come with the new year - resolutions, tasks etc. However, one must be inspired to achieve. For inspiration, where do you look? Lets take you back to the 70's, 1976 to be precise. The first movie of the Rocky series was born, produced out of a brilliant manuscripts written by a film actor who was struggling financially and had his backyard problems to solve. The actor and writer of this wonderful piece wrote the first manuscript in under twenty hours, after seeing the boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner.
