Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of tellrhodes gist , this is a heart felt article on the situation in my country and the world at large and am going to be speaking by talking about the song & video this is America, which after gaining a lot of attention from the media based on the deep message being passed by the video, and of which our very own Falz the bahd guy did a cover!!
 My first reaction when I saw Falz's cover was like, uncle sege (as he is sometimes called) you are not a bastard its your father that born you true true, big shoutout to him.
   This is not a comparism but an emphasis on the message both videos passed which I agree with most parts of, recently there has been so much violence in the world and injustice and it seems like the people who are victims are treated even worse and those who are inflicting pain are protected, all because they are the ones with the pepper(money).
    Worse is that our tool, Social Media which should be a medium for influence has only been filled up with distractions , even with the serious message being passed people still took out time to focus on how good the shaku shaku in this is Nigeria was and how good the dance in a the video for This is America was. And how both artistes looked without shirts!!! Which is the actual message The video this is America was trying to pass.
    This exactly is what is going on in reality, from the distraction called big brother which Falz called big sister in the video(😂).
     The reference to yahoo boys , the snake swallowing 36million naira and more, this serious matters just show up on social media for a few days  after which memes, and videos come up and then we laugh everything away with no action being taken.
Right now this is Nigeria and that is America.
BUT IS THIS REALLY THE NIGERIA, AFRICA and AMERICA WE WANT??? WILL THIS VIDEOS COME AND GO LIKE EVERY OTHER TIME SOME ONE HAS SPOKEN UP???
