Hallo world,
Good morning and welcome to another awesome episode of Voice Of The Week and today we have the creative and inventive Stephen Arudi!!

Mr Arudi Stephen is a student of kogi state university, currently studying social studies in the education department, prior to this he has bagged a diploma certificate in the Accounting department.

Beyond the walls of the class room, Mr Stephen has a passion for photography and loves to create, document and tell stories with his pictures.

   This desire has driven him into knowing and understanding that pictures have a language and they speak. The desire to prove this has birthed alot of ideas and projects from this creative mind.

 While speaking to this awesome young man he made note of the fact that though there are challenges as a young photographer who wants to cause a revolution in the photography industry  with determination you will rise above them all.

It was as a result of this determination that he received an award as the best photographer of the year in 2016 from AF&E(african fibrics & event).

  His first project was tagged IROCK (a photoshoot contest) in 2016, he is currently preparing for the second edition in 2017 and several others which will come up soon.
Here is what he has to say to young people;
    My advice to young people is this, you can change your world if you want to, don't look down on yourself, stay focused and be deliberate about life, there is no success by luck, you work for it, stop this mentality that we are LEADERS of TOMORROW.... there is no TOMORROW, don't be decieved, rule NOW! Every tomorrow starts TODAY, so stay focus, live life deliberately and rule NOW.
And to photographers in particular he said;
   Find where you belong, stay there and dominate, don't compete, competition puts your opponent on the same game with you but when you dominate, you put your opponet out of the game. Let me be real with you, as a young photographer people have looked down on me, and they will do the same to you but see where my strength is; That the industry is a big place, we can do the same thing and expect thesame result, we all have different views towards life....so our field in photography differs, find urs and stay there.... It is scriptural, Dominate!
   The Spirit of God is the center of it all, the Spirit of wisdom and insight!

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION The year is into full swing already Tellrheaders, but for all we have missed so far, I wish you a Happy New Year. There are a lot of things that come with the new year - resolutions, tasks etc. However, one must be inspired to achieve. For inspiration, where do you look? Lets take you back to the 70's, 1976 to be precise. The first movie of the Rocky series was born, produced out of a brilliant manuscripts written by a film actor who was struggling financially and had his backyard problems to solve. The actor and writer of this wonderful piece wrote the first manuscript in under twenty hours, after seeing the boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner. That actor/writer is Sylvester Stallone and today the Rocky franchise ( if I may call it so) is a recognized international movie with great acclaims, enough to earn Stallone a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame in a non-commissioned for playing the role of Rocky.
