PURPOSE, PASSION, SUCCESS


All great men or women that have ever succeeded in any field have been men and women of great passion and enthusiasm for their desired goal or cause. Great people across time that have made great impacts on the world during their time an even after their deaths for example Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, George Washington, John D. Rockefeller, and many others have been people that were extremely enthusiastic about what they believed in and so passionate about their cause. But at first, these were ordinary people like us, what made them so great. That answer is quite simple, they discovered their purpose.
As you might have heard or read before, there are two great days in every man’s life; the day he is born, and the day he discovers why. Purpose according to the Bible is for God’s glory (read Isaiah 43:7). According to the English dictionary, it is defined as the reason for which anything is done, created or exists. From these we can conclude that purpose is something to which we were created to do, now some do argue, that your purpose is what you define it as, whatever choice you make in life so long as you’re passionate about it is your purpose. Whichever you agree with, one thing is certain, your purpose is that thing that keeps you up, that stirs your mind to work, that makes you want to work and that brings you joy when achieved. Passion is defined as “boundless enthusiasm” and enthusiasm is a “great excitement for or interest in a subject or a cause”, success is the achievement of something desired, planned or attempted. Enthusiasm as I like to say is a great key for success in any field or for any set goal, enthusiasm is when you’re passionate & excited about doing something. Purpose when mixed with passion is guaranteed to lead you to success.
HOW TO DISCOVER PURPOSE
There are 3 easy ways to discover purpose, and these are as follows;
Prayer
Meditation
Observation of one’s self (weaknesses, strengths, what makes you happy)

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION The year is into full swing already Tellrheaders, but for all we have missed so far, I wish you a Happy New Year. There are a lot of things that come with the new year - resolutions, tasks etc. However, one must be inspired to achieve. For inspiration, where do you look? Lets take you back to the 70's, 1976 to be precise. The first movie of the Rocky series was born, produced out of a brilliant manuscripts written by a film actor who was struggling financially and had his backyard problems to solve. The actor and writer of this wonderful piece wrote the first manuscript in under twenty hours, after seeing the boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner. That actor/writer is Sylvester Stallone and today the Rocky franchise ( if I may call it so) is a recognized international movie with great acclaims, enough to earn Stallone a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame in a non-commissioned for playing the role of Rocky.
