TUESDAY TALKS WITH GBEMI : PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE
TUESDAY TALKS WITH GBEMI
PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE
Virtue: morally good behavior or character; a good and moral quality; the good result that comes from something.
Hello TTB followers, happy new month!!! Welcome to yet another edition of Tuesday Talks with Gbemi. Today's edition will be a little bit more of an advice. So the other day I was at the ATM and all of a sudden two guys started fighting over who to use the ATM first. After hurling insults for about 10 minutes and wasting every other persons'time (including mine) on the queue, one of them later conceded to allow the other person use the machine. It was kind of funny to watch them drag and fight over who to use the machine first and at the end only one person was able to use it that particular time. I mean why not just be patient in the first place, at least the energy they used to fight would have been conserved and others on the queue wouldn't have been delayed unnecessarily. Most times everyone is always in a hurry to use the ATM, enter the bus, complete a transaction in the bank, do biometrics (for corps members) get married, etc. but the thing is not everyone can do a thing at the same time. Even the Holy Bible said it that "time and chance happens to them all". Be imparting doesn't make what you want to come faster it happen quickly, instead it just makes you agitated for nothing. After all, immediately you withdraw from from the ATM you forget all about the time you spent at the queue. Imagine if we all are patient in our day to day activities, there definitely will be peace and happiness. So, let's try cultivate the virtue of being patient this new month and I assure you things will definitely work out.
