LIFE AS IT IS: Eat Your Heart
Eat Your Heart
“You're beautiful”
He always said to them. That word beautiful could bring lot of emotions. Especially when they never felt that way before.
He always went to the chubby ones. Those whose self esteem could been found at the bottom of a pit. The ones who felt they had no one and didn't think anyone loved them.
It was so easy. Some people actually thought being on social media was safe, and it had been so easy to find those kind of people.
The first girl he had met had been on facebook. He name had been “Beauty”. “What kind of parent named their daughter Beauty” he had thought. Especially when she was fat and had acne all over her body. It had been the easiest. The other had come hardier but Beauty walls had been so easy to breached. He had commented on her profile picture, telling her cute her nose was. That was the truth of course. It had been difficult to find a striking feature but her nose had look better than the rest. She had replied with an emoji.
And that was it.
The game.
He had slide into her inbox introducing himself. There had been no need for pretense. He had started with name and what he did for a living. By the time he was done, she was already eating from his palms.
Everyday he would wake her up with text, telling her how he cared for her and how much his life had changed after that day he complimented her on her picture.
And then she started depending on him, just like he wanted.Telling him things and seeking his advice on decisions.
That when he knew it was time to strike the match. He started little, telling her what colors would suit her most. What kind of hairstyle would go with her frame of face and what amount of makeup would fit her face. He knew he had gotten deep when he started seeing the wariness on her face.
When she had committed suicide six month after their first encounter,he had been excited. He was getting tired already and it was getting too long for her to break.
He had attended her funeral. After all he was a good man and had been only doing the Lord's work.
Survival, they said was for the fittest.
