I AM A NIFESIAN BUT NOW.......

A MUST READ FOR ALL STUDENTS IN HIGHER INSTITUTIONS!!!

 This article applies to people, old &young who are/where once in different fellowships in Nigeria and in the world at large i use NIFES cause they are my family.
    Before we get lost in small talk, let me share a story of a young woman, this woman was a nifesian from a university in the north central of Nigeria, oh her days in the university were the best days of her life, she was a member of Nifes and a two times vice president of Nifes. Nifes changed her life, it transformed her into a woman of fire and confidence and a leader in the order of Christ, every one in the school knew what she stood for "christ" she was the called mama by some and woman of God by others.
    After she left school and went to serve she was a faithful member of the Nigerian Christian Corpers fellowship (nccf) well known and loved by other members. she had served in the drama unit in Nifes(divine linkers) and was also a good bible study teacher she had so much fire!
    Six years later sister nifes, was in her well furnished sitting room now she has two kids a budding career and a lovely husband whom she had met while serving he was a "nice" man. She  put on her TV and switched to a Christian channel so she could use the message as background sound while she made lunch for her family this was the third month that she had missed weekly services at the church because"she was busy"she really loved the sound of the woman, and the great words she was speaking so she decided go to the sitting room for a little while..... and as she looked closely she was amazed at who she saw it was Mrs juliet onekele wow she remembered her perfectly, she had been in charge of their set when she they came as freshers to the university she heard that she had later gone on to be a zonal exco member and wow look how great and useful to the kingdom she had become just yesterday she had also come across a video of mrs Agah Opaluwa Achimugu preaching at an international conference for women it was so awesome she was moved from watching it on her phone, they had been friends in nifes and even served in the same unit.. nifes really produced great kingdom soldiers she thought ......
    hmm the next day was Sunday and at about 10am on Sunday morning she and her "nice" husband drove into church .Service had started 2hours ago and being the "faithful Christians that they are though it was 30mins to the end of service they would rather be around for just announcement, offering and closing prayer than be totally absent.
     She was not a worker  in church and no one knew her not even her pastor, she only came to church on Sundays and as call it, she was a regular visitor, as she stepped out of church her child tripped and was about to fall when an usher caught the child and as she was about to thank the usher who caught the child, she looked up they both screamed in delight , another product of nifes they were friends n school and the young man had served as the chief usher school and was also the chief usher in that church. she was his  discipleship cell group facilitator(a form of bible study group in nifes) they caught up on old times and said their goodbyes ......
     As she drove home with her husband she began to think where did all her fire go she had become a mother, a wife and a career woman and this new titles had taken away her place in the church and stopped her from impacting the kingdom just yesterday she had heard international public speaker and writer Rhoda Enietan say she had been groomed in nifes. She remembered the numerous training sessions and seminars and preachers that had been invited to speak to them at nifes,she remembered how she vowed to be active wherever she found her self in life but this thoughts didn't bother her for long once she got home she forgot about them.....
      At home she had lunch with her family and afterwards her nice husband offered to carry the kids out so she could study she was working towards her doctorate degree... when they left she decided to listen to music as she studied, so she put on the TV in her bedroom she selected a gospel music channel and the song was so awesome and the spirituality and the voice caught her attention so she looked up and it was another familiar face it was NEON ADEJO in the video of his new song YAHWEH FT ONOS he had served as a music director in nifes and she used to tease him and call him her spiritual son while they where on campus.
    JUST THEN A VOICE SAID JUST LIKE THIS ONES I DEPOSITED SO MUCH IN YOU TO BE USED FOR MY KINGDOM YOU COULD HAVE BEEN A MOTHER A WIFE AND STILL  DO MY WORK CAUSE I WOULD HAVE STRENGTHENED  YOU...
   She began to think the things she had dropped serving God for had not even been so successful. Her home was not peaceful, her job was not so satisfying, and her kids where already not growing in the way of God her 10yr old child could not even say a simple prayer, it was at this point she broke down and began to cry and renew her covenant with God... (I'll be a true soldier i'll die at my post)
    Many of us are still in school and on fire but what will happen when you leave that environment that encourages you to do crazy things for God will u still be on fire for Christ or will society tittles replace your kingdom tittles and potentials??? so much is being invested in you now in the university environment seminars,crusades and all don't waste this programs......stand for christ today and forever!!! share this post with every Christian
