Parents listen to your children, 

We are the leaders of tomorrow.... (clap clap clap) 

Listen to us and echo our cry

The watch dog has chased the owner out.

Our fatherland treats us as unwanted guests

Our homes are unsafe 

Our streets are unsafe 

Our country is unsafe

Lazy they called us; We picked up our gear and got to work, 

Now criminals they call us.

Parents listen to your children,

we may never make it to tomorrow. 

We are being judged today,

Based on the kind of car we drive, the hairstyle we keep, the phone we use, the amount of wealth we seem to be too young to have. 

The judge, jury and prosecutor no longer work in the court house, they are out here in our streets today and they judge unfairly, a wrong word can be answered by the sound of gunshots.

One by one the tomorrow loses leaders, we are speaking up now and there is no better time to listen.

Oooh God of creation

Direct our noble cause

Guide our leaders to do right

help the youths the truth to know:

We have the right to stand up for a change 

We have the power to make a change 

We have the power to make demands

And today we demand

Simple as it may sound, it is a question that has troubled my mind relentlessly. How many soul mates do we get in a lifetime?  Have you ever met someone and out of the blue, y'all connect and a bond is forged?
