LIFE AS IT IS : EVERYDAY TIPS
EVERYDAY TIPS
Hey, there
1⃣You don't have to belong to the majority. If you are in a group; family or friends and everyone says "aye". You could say "nay" if you have a different opinion or don't support the "aye" stand. As we grow up from infancy, we try to find our place and most times without the right hand leading us, we fall. We should all know that there's nothing wrong in falling. Just try to stand up after you do. Decisions should come with thoughtfulness and this should go along with ethics and values and how they may affect others.
2⃣If you have a problem with someone, it is advisable to go straight to that person. Don't start by talking to others about that person. If you are afraid or wary of talking to that person physically, try texting, emailing. Go with caution. In as much as this person may have hurt you or someone close to you, he/she may not be aware of this incident. Try to let them see things the way you do. If this doesn't work out, go with another reasonable approach.
3⃣ Learn to accept people's choice and decision. Just because you don't believe in something dosen't mean it's wrong. When someone makes a choice, try sitting down on that person's side of the fence. How much does this person's decision affect you? Does it affect you emotionally, physically or morally? Why do you think it does?. When you are able to answer this questions. Try telling this person how you feel about their decision and how much it affect you. Give them your opinion but don't force it on them. Learn to walk away peacefully if you feel you can't stand their decisions.
Thank you
