ALKALI AMANA’S BOARD: MARK YOUR GREATNESS
MARK YOUR GREATNESS
Hello friend,
Tell me, what is the joy in giving up? Is there a momentary satisfaction of relief? From my experience, no. Is there a guarantee of better-ness? No, again, from my experience. My sermon today is not all about you not giving up. That has been preached many times. There’s an aspect to it I don’t see around so much. The part that tells you how great you are. The part that assures you and makes you know you are on the right track.
One thing to note before we continue. This is exclusive of pride. This is also exclusive of ego or any form of haughtiness. Rather, it is perfunctory of instinct and an assurance that you can be who you want to be regardless of any limit or barrier. It results from faith, a sort of faith which leads fate, that’s where it stems from. For the spiritual side of things, your creator or maker didn’t put you up here so you could be mediocre or little. For the one who we believe owns the universe, don’t you think you do him a great act of dishonour by thinking you cannot accomplish anything or provide any form of produce with the seeds planted in you.
Thinking small is a sin, pardon me if that came across too hard. Embody growth and massive development, even if you fail. It is when you fail that you grow. It teaches you to be experienced and it limits the paths you take leading you towards success. Be Edison and succeed even if it takes you to the one thousandth and one time. The likes of Muhammad Ali didn’t become great by thinking little. Give yourself some importance.
Be great. Tell yourself you are great, made in the image of the one who created you. Inspire yourself. Pray through it, even with whispers. Take those ideas and act on them.
Stay captivated and have a great week!
