OPENED MY EYES: TODAY'S BEGGEST SCAM "SEX"

Image
TODAY'S BIGGEST SCAM Hi there! Welcome to the Opened My Eyes section of TTB. It's been a while and I'm glad to share with you today what I think is the biggest scam or one of the biggest scams today : Premarital Sex Ladies and gentlemen, do not be deceived. Men may change but God and His standards will NEVER change. Sex was designed by God and is a great thing within the CONTAINER i.e MARRIAGE. Otherwise, IT DESTROYS YOU. You must know that it is powerful beyond your imagination, joining its participants on levels they may be oblivious to (scary right???? NOT IF YOU ARE MARRIED). There's so much to say and there are so many audiences to address but I must narrow the message in scope so as to get somewhere today. My message today is twofold First, I want to talk to you my brother/sister who has already fallen (especially if you knew and know that it is wrong) and may have given up hope of restoration. Don't fret, your sin is not strong enough to nullify the ...

ALKALI AMANA'S BOARD: WE?

Image
We? We are building stories... Who we are. What we are.  Where we are. How we are. We are building now to answer the eternal question of posterity and its representations. For each letter we use, each word we say, each sentence we think of and even the plans we design. It is the little things we do that matter. In their entirety, where neglected, can cause a catastrophe. So, almost everyday you see people fail in their task and you wonder why one succeeds and the another fails. Baffling as it may sound, sometimes the circumstances are unfavorable to the one who succeeds and favorable to the one who fails. What then leads to success? So many formulas have been expended on this matter and a lot will still be dealt with, but in summation, one post captures it as 'Attitude' being the benchmark of success and out of attitude comes dedication, desire and commitment, alongside patience and persistence to succeed. Think about it. What's your 'Story'? Help us in...

LETTER TO ME

Image
Hey guys, hi. Really been a long time since I've been here. School sweet, na assignment spoil am 😩. So what I'll be sharing today is something I once wrote on my WhatsApp and I believe some of us need to know we're not struggling alone. What am I talking about? Here you go; Adolescence pretty much wacked me in the face. Heck, I wasn't prepared at all. The best I got was Daddy's "Don't be too familiar with the opposite sex" (and he still rings it in my ears till tomorrow). So first time I was "catching feelings", I didn't understand it. And as the confused kid I was, I didn't think running to Dad and Mom was the wisest choice (cos let's face it, back in the day, talking to our folks was hard work). I decided to turn to God and prayer - you'd wanna sit down for this one - and in my fear of all the complex emotions I was feeling, I asked God to kill all sense of feeling. 😂. Mans wanted to just turn into a robot. Till I w...

PARADIGM WITH RYGLES: NO ONE CAN KNOW

Image
"No one can know" I remember these words clearly, as vivid as I remember his hands, his scent, his strength as he subdued me. These simple words that seem so innocent, wrecked me completely, the guilt that followed, the self hate, the low self esteem, simply because I wasn't strong enough. "No one can know" these words that destroyed families, ended lives, all for a mask that most people defy. Words that  cover up lies, make up that blinds, kills the insides of those that abide, these words make me want to give up and die. Poetic, it might seem, but really, the words "No one can know"  is just one of the many ways to live in hell on earth.
