TELL RHODES - My 500 Gb Lecturer and I !
Hello guys I don't even know what to name this section or how frequent it will be, but I really miss speaking to people through writing.
And I'm like why waste my daily thoughts when I can share them.
Welcome to Tell-Rhodes 🙌
And you know I have gist!!!
Today i'm sharing the latest advice I ever recieved🙆🏾♀ This one pain me ehn!
While I was in the University we use to have this lecturer we call Memory Card.
I'm not even joking man has Like 1 Terabyte in his head🤣
He knew basically everything there is to know about microbiology with out having to look into a book I mean you will write a wrong reference and he will know and even write the correct one, is that not a walking google🤦🏾♀.
One time he came to class and his usual fashion when we start admiring his intelligence he uses that opportunity to chip in advice, and this day he really touched me.
He told us an interesting story of how he ended up in Microbiology (from which he graduated with a first-class) and how it was never his intention to study Microbiology and had even tried applying for his really choice both in the course of his study and after but it never worked out, and on how he still had a good result despite not wanting the course he said-
"I have a principle of giving my best in whatever I do, not minding if I wanted to do it originally or not"
As at this time I was already in my 3rd year, and my biggest excuse for not giving my best was that I had realised this was not what I wanted to do with my life.
If only I had this mindset earlier🤔 but this advice has helped in everything I have done after that.
I got this advice quite late for me in that area of my life, but I hope this is coming early to someone out there in every place you find yourself be the very best and do your very best.
Like I said When life gives you Hibiscus use it to make Zobo😂🤗
Thanks for Reading I love you❤
