White Sneakers

So I beg you, brothers and sisters, because of the great mercy God has shown us, offer your lives as a living sacrifice to him—an offering that is only for God and pleasing to him. Considering what he has done, it is only right that you should worship him in this way. Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect.

Hello there and welcome to the Opened My Eyes section once again Today we look at white sneakers.

White Sneakers? Is this the shoe section? Nope. The Holy Spirit used white sneakers to explain to me, how the mind is. If you were given a brand new pair of white sneakers, they would probably be stainless and perfect. If you then wore those sneakers everyday just for a few days, you would notice that your sneakers are not so white anymore. You need not have been stepped on by someone. Just from moving around, your sneakers would be stained.

My friend, your mind is no different. Paul says to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. It means therefore that your mind needs to be renewed just like your white sneakers need washing. The same way your sneakers are stained from exposure to the world is how your mind is stained from exposure to the world.

If you will not be stained permanently and scarred as a result, you must wash your mind through the WORD and PRAYER. These are the soap and water that ensure your mind remains pure and receptive to the leading of the Master.

Being the nice and helpful person I am, I've taken the time out to list the basic measurements we need for a simple dress and how to take these measurements accurately. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your undergarments.  However, a close-fitting clothing will be fine.  Do NOT measure yourself or a client that's wearing jeans, sweats, or other bulky clothing.  It DOES make a difference fam.
