Episode 3
A young man of about Eighteen comes into the cell, "you both are summoned to the parque, you have about five  minutes to get there or you will be dragged and that is not a good look on beauties such as yourselves," he winks, "I have to say, I haven't been this entertained in a really long time, it's refreshing to see two people actually look out for each other, just so you know, there's a bet going on how long your friendship or whatever it is you both have will last, soooo five minutes." He walks away and walks back "Just in case you were wondering, the parque is where a lot of people will be gathered in the basement and before you ask, yes there's another basement, it's a marvel how deep the ground goes" he winks again and leaves the cell doors open. Chi looks at Maria and smirks "well...  That one is handsome, talks a lot but with those lips, I wouldn't want to keep quiet either." Maria chuckles "trust you to think about boys in this situation." She tries to stand, Chi helps her up while they walk out, Chi sighs "There's no situation where I will not be allowed to discover, and compliment the male specimen" Maria chuckles and winces, "please stop, you will be the end of me".

They see a corner at the edge of the cell that leads below, they hear sounds and cheers as they go below "Is there no end to this?" Maria asks, frustrated. "Well, at least we are not on the surface sowing seeds and eating rations, oh and clean cold water to drink and forget the day's labour, to think we thought our lives were hard," Chi replies tiredly "You realize you just contradicted yourself in that particular statement, it makes no sense" Maria scolds. Chi pauses and takes a long look at Maria "Oh!!! I'm sorry her royal sense, forgive me, I'm tired, hungry, I stink and I'm dragging your ass down a rabbit hole, do forgive me if my English makes no sense, I don't make sense, you don't make sense, the world doesn't make sense so if you mention one word that irritates me one more time, God so help me I will push you down these morbid stairs, dare me,"

Maria looks at Chi suspiciously and sighs deeply "Are you on your period or something because.." Chi pushes her down before she could put in another word. Maria screams echo, Chi puts her hand on her forehead "this feels very satisfying" she goes down, slips and tumbles down the hole, she lands on top of Maria.
"I can't believe you pushed me"Maria screams at Chi after pushing her off her, she winces in pain "You are the most awful person I have ever met!" Chi stands and tries to help Maria up, Maria refuses her help and struggles to stand on her own, Chi looks at her "I warned you, I was on my last button, you just had to push it, well... " she shrugs,  Maria looks disbelievingly at her and then notices her environment, she and Chi discovers a group of people staring at them , they see the boy that came earlier, he winks at them, the lady they met at the ring smirks at them, they notice the guy who ordered them to fight to the death seated at the top ,it looks like a circle but a really crooked circle, the people seated on different chairs had guards or escorts. The seductress as Maria thought walks to them and smiles in a way that made their stomach coil in fear"

"Well if it isn't the chummy two, I'm going to have a lot of fun with you two." The man that seemed like their leader tells them to come forward, the girls move towards the group, Chi supports Maria on her arm while they speak to them.
"This is unusual for us, we have never had two people come together stay together for this long, and so we have decided to take in both of you, I personally like the fire in your eyes, it's still pure and undiluted, but you can't stay here without doing your part in the sack, we have coexisted for years because there are well defined laws and responsibilities, each of us seated here are leaders of each faction and you can call me Man." Maria and Chi look surprised at this. "I'm sorry, did you say your name is Man?" Maria asks, The Man chuckles "No I said you can call me Man, it's a title to the head of the sack, you have not earned the right to know my name and the next time you talk without being asked to, you won't live to tell the story, do you understand me?" Maria and Chinese nods enthusiastically.

"I'm Emerald, you will be calling me Moet and nothing more, I'm the mistress of the night, if you understand what that means, and I usually take good looking girls in but I can only take the unmarred person, you see, in my business, beauty is important." The seductress says to the girls, and smiles specifically at Chi. The other person to her right speaks "I'm Joshua but people call me Chair, I'm the head healer and it looks like you need my services so I'll be taking the damaged one, I have a thing for broken things "

Maria and Chi look at each other and sigh in unison, Maria whispers to Chi, "well, we are screwed!!! And for one of us, that might be literal" Chi looks at her coldly "Too early?" Maria asks lifting one of her brows.
