"Look, I'm sorry alright? I mean it's been two days and you've barely said a word" He said after what would have seemed like many hours of graveyard silence.

"You know I hate this apology thing you're doing" Lola replied. Sam thought he saw what was disgust on her face"

"Babe, that's the thing. You hate it, but you make me do it. For instance, you've been quiet the last two days, but won't tell me what the issue is..."

"And I have told you there's nothing wrong. Damn, can't a woman be quiet in peace? Silence is golden afterall"

"Golden not, ironclad. You've been dropping comments that suggest you're mad, but won't say what the real issue is. It's not fair. I thought we were supposed to be able to communicate". Sam was starting to feel overwhelmed by all of it. He valued communication, no matter how hard it would get. But Lola would rather avoid what she called a "confrontation"...

Dear Me,

Perhaps the short teaser gave you the idea of the content of this letter. But a few thoughts quickly.

Communication is important to all humans. So important in fact that it's the only way for us to learn and shape behavior (well, to an extent). It is the basis of all relationships. And because of that, communication plays a major role in sustaining a relationship.

When boy meets girl, boy says words (cos ladies are moved by what they hear) and it's essentially the words that prompt her decision as to whether or not the guy is "datable".

On the other hand, a man would rather just hear "fine" when he asks how was your day, rather than a minute by minute download of all that happened. But the same man likes that he knows what's going on with you. Like Sam, a man gets frustrated when he knows there's something wrong but you'll rather not say. Lola could have saved the situation by speaking up.

Personally, I prefer a "confrontation" (as e dey hot). Hit me if you will, give the silence treatment for a few hours, but let's sort ot out that same day or moment (if we can help it).

Guys, ladies love a man who listens. Trust me. Even if she beats around the bush, she wants you to follow her gist and make imputs. Ladies, a man may prefer specificity to detailed news feeds, but tell him what's going on. Don't leave him in the dark.

Val is 2 days away, have fun, be good, and talk to one another.

 HOW TO TAKE ACCURATE BASIC MEASUREMENTS  So last week when talking on how to get the perfect fit, the first thing on our list was "taking accurate measurements". Being the nice and helpful person I am, I've taken the time out to list the basic measurements we need for a simple dress and how to take these measurements accurately. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your undergarments.  However, a close-fitting clothing will be fine.  Do NOT measure yourself or a client that's wearing jeans, sweats, or other bulky clothing.  It DOES make a difference fam. The body is made of soft tissue, so it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
