Ree’s Guide to Happiness!!!
Hello, it’s your favorite life coach in the whole wild world!!! , feel free to jump and scream in pure joy and excitement, I know you missed me all week. Its fine, I’m here now to make all your worries disappear. How has your week been so far? I had a pretty uneventful week, starting the week with a holiday just made me lose track of what day was what day and almost all week I kept asking, is today Monday? I felt like Monday disappeared from the calendar lol.
Today, I’m giving the rules to happiness, I know somebody will say “there are no rules to happiness” well there is and here it is!, so when next you feel low and sad, just remember these rules and if they don’t make you happy, please come and collect your data money (please don’t, just turn to God, your sadness is totally beyond me”.
Firstly , Happiness according to the dictionary app on my phone ( incase you’re wondering how I know) is defined as a state of having a feeling arising from the CONSIOUSNESS of wellbeing or of enjoyment; enjoying good of any kind as peace, tranquility, comfort; contented; joyous.
Please see the capitalized word, CONSIOUSNESS the first rule of happiness is to be aware of the fact that you have the right to be happy, that you should be happy, that you deserve to be happy and that being sad and worried does nothing so why not be happy? I’ll leave that to you to answer. We all have the inbuilt system to smile and laugh, so basically we are all happy but not being aware and conscious of that fact makes us to wear a long face because things are not working out, once again can worry change your situation?
The second rule of happiness is Be Real, Be you and enjoy it, be real doesn’t mean stop being fake, it means don’t try to be somebody else for whatever reason, don’t try to show so little of yourself because you’re trying to be somebody you think is better than you. There’s nothing as joyful and blissful as owning yourself and just be happy in the you that is you ( whatever that means) but really, let go and let you be you, it’s hard sometimes because we all feel a little inadequate and insecure about ourselves but the truth is that WE ALL DO including that person you’re trying to be like, the only difference is that he/she has learnt overtime (doesn’t happen in a day) to be happy and content with whoever and whatever body he/she is in and if you’re not happy with the way you look do something about it, work out, eat right and take it to the Lord in prayer .
The third rule to Happiness is “be a good person”, I’m sure most of us have heard the bible verse that says “there is no peace for the wicked”?, that is self explanatory but I need to shed more light to emphasize how important it is for you that you be a good person, sometimes it’s hard not to be selfish, really hard not to think of yourself first, super hard to walk away when somebody pisses you off or is shouting and saying derogatory things to you, it’s even more harder not to revenge, kai, its takes me everything that my mother and the bible taught me not to revenge, like gosh, I want to be so vindictive but then I realize, how does that make me feel better? For the meantime, maybe a little fake satisfaction but after? The pain that I felt, imagine me inflicting it on somebody? It may make sense for you at that moment to revenge and be petty but thereafter? I’m leaving questions because most times only our conscience can speak sense to us not even our favorite life coach (which is me by the way )
Fourthly. Find comfort, find your happy place, it could be a scene or a scenery in your head that gives you bliss, happiness and such joy that cannot be explained and if you have money, it could be a place in Paris, Dubai, New York , it could even be food, for foodies like me. I get instantly happy when I see fried chicken, like that is my happy place, every day I spend few seconds in my head loving and imagining fried chicken. Find that place and think go there even if it’s in your mind, picture it whenever you’re about to be sad and if the sadness doesn’t go away, its either not your happy place or you definitely need to take it to God (I mean that)
Finally, it is important that you always determine when you wake up to have a happy day, no matter what happens, wake up, say a prayer and say wonderful things concerning your day, overtime you may not even need to say it again because your sub-conscious and conscious has registered that you’re a happy being and nothing can stop it, also remember to eat health, some food contains vitamins and bunch of stuffs that improves our metabolism, brain efficiency and overtime makes us sharper and smarter . Also Chocolate makes you happy too, buy plenty chocolates and save money for dentist later but in the meantime, do what makes you happy (lol, with caution)
There is actually no rule to being happy, only you can decide how and what will make you happy as only you can make yourself happy.
