*Design and Display*

Transsion Holdings the parent company of Infinix Mobility was keen to point out the marked aesthetics of the Infinix Note 5. The smartphone has a glass finish which is the way to go for premium smartphones at the moment and a very much reduced bezel up front. There is also the interesting 18:9 aspect ratio that makes the smartphone looks all the more elegant.

As for the display on the Infinix Note 5, there is one thing that it is apparent here and that is its large size. Besides that, it is backed up with a crisp colour display and wore thin bezels.



Speaking of the size, the screen goes up to 6-inch and with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is quite bright too up to 500 nits which means visibility in the sun should be no problem.

*Battery and Camera*

In the area of power, the Infinix Note 5 does not disappoint as it comes with quite enough capacity to go well even begin a day of usage. Also garnering the power of fast charge, the smartphone is assured to get your battery up to full charge in no time at all. Also, the 4, 500mAh battery on the Infinix Note 5 is way above the average battery capacity.

In the camera section, the rave is all about the low light selfie camera although the aperture is still an arbitrary f/2.0 aperture. Infinix promises AI improved pictures from the camera of the Infinix Note 5 which bolsters the quality of images taken by the camera. The primary camera in play here is a 12MP sensor while a 16MP camera is stationed at the front for selfies.

*Hardware and Software*

Beneath the whole design flair and glamour lies a quite good hardware which is from MediaTek by the way. Doing your bidding on the inside is an Octa-core MediaTek Hello P23 chipset with a max clock speed of 2.0GHz. Interestingly, you also have a recent Mali-G71 MP2 in charge of graphic related events like your gaming.

The rest of the bulk of the Infinix Note 5 includes 3GB RAM paired with 32GB storage space option, whereas, a more premium variant provides you with 4GB RAM as well as 64GB of storage space built-in. The duo support expansion up to 256GB using a memory card and a bloatware-free Android 8.1 Oreo thanks to the Android One initiative.
