LIFE MOMENTS.



A very good day to you thought leaders and welcome on board to Hamz's Musings this bright Thursday afternoon.
 What are you doing right now? What are your target before the day runs out?
Are you working passionately towards reaching your goals?

You see, life is all about the moments which we create by ourselves now that tend to be memories later.

I have lived recklessly. I have made reckless decisions. I have taken reckless actions. I have had moments when I think I am indestructible and that there are no consequences to my deeds. These are sad moments.

But I have had beautiful moments too. Like when someone I do not know walks up to me and says, “Are you Hamz? Thank God I have finally met you! Because of you, I have learned few things about life and principles, My life is testimony.

Or those moments when, after a hard day’s work, all stressed and tired, I can mentally look back at my achievements and proudly say, “The boy I was would be proud of the man I am becoming.”

Or those moments when, on the rare and special occasions I visit my parents and my brother and sisters come around too, we gather and I'm grateful for our family.

Or those moments when I have made critical decisions that intentionally lead me into the future I desire. These are happy moments.

And life is like that, a combination of good moments and bad moments.

It should be our mission in life to gather more significantly good moments than bad moments.

It is our duty to make our moments counts, for soon they will become memories... and when they do, what will they best be remembered for?

Life is something else too... It is a parallel series of infinite moments.

And each series of moments bring with them the possibility to live intentionally, choose wisely, and begin, right from that moment, to make you life better. It is a choice.

For, inevitably, we all will come to that moment when we realise that the balance of life has tilted and that we have more memories than dreams.

At that point, we will look back at our lives and then listen to voices from our collected moments reach out to us from our thin slice of eternity. What would they be saying?

I leave you with a small lesson I have learnt- if you want to change your life, if you want to invent the kind of future you would be proud of, take care of your moments.

For me, I am dedicated to intentionally creating moments, shaping them in ever-so  beautiful ways, so that when they become MEMORIES, I can look back at them, smile, and be fulfilled... So that I can boldly say, "I TRULY LIVED."

 HOW TO TAKE ACCURATE BASIC MEASUREMENTS  So last week when talking on how to get the perfect fit, the first thing on our list was "taking accurate measurements". Being the nice and helpful person I am, I've taken the time out to list the basic measurements we need for a simple dress and how to take these measurements accurately. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your undergarments.  However, a close-fitting clothing will be fine.  Do NOT measure yourself or a client that's wearing jeans, sweats, or other bulky clothing.  It DOES make a difference fam. The body is made of soft tissue, so it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
