GROWTH SERIES 1: SOPHIE SPEAKS

Hellllllo lovelies! Missed me? I sure did. For a couple of weeks we'll be pruning ourselves for a steady stance in the journey ahead. Take a look at today's series. I hope you find your place while at it.

 It's a daily struggle. You either tag along or you're crushed. Everyone's wild on the streets. "It's a survival thing", they say. You've gotta brace up to life however possible even if it means losing your grip constantly. I beg to differ.

Motor parks, market places, walk ways. Virtually every nook has a hint of vulgarity. For the sane mind, it's hard to keep up. You wish there were others who saw things differently. The more you look catch phrase falls back at you each time. Life is cruel and its inhabitants aren't making it any less cruel.
We're constantly at war with our environment. We recover our lost energy by pushing further or we add to the number of miscreants. Either ways, we wrestle. No one has uncovered how to get by unhurt. For the most part, you'll feel the urge to give up. Just before you lose your grip be reminded that you don't have to blend in to find your voice. Being different is loud enough. You don't have to always prove your point. Not everyone will agree with your ideologies anyway. It's absolutely normal to stand alone for what you believe in. I bet you, Noah had critics as he built the ark. Take pride in your abilities no matter how little you think they are. Believe in yourself, disregard contrary opinion. "You can do better" shouldn't drown you into thinking you did worse rather it should spur you on to aim higher. You're original as you can be, stop celebrating 'idols'. I wonder who's gonna live your life when you end up living the lives of your self-imposed lords. Be genuine! Be different!! Be you!!!

 HOW TO TAKE ACCURATE BASIC MEASUREMENTS  So last week when talking on how to get the perfect fit, the first thing on our list was "taking accurate measurements". Being the nice and helpful person I am, I've taken the time out to list the basic measurements we need for a simple dress and how to take these measurements accurately. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your undergarments.  However, a close-fitting clothing will be fine.  Do NOT measure yourself or a client that's wearing jeans, sweats, or other bulky clothing.  It DOES make a difference fam. The body is made of soft tissue, so it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
