HOW TO MAKE ROCK CAKES!! : ChaChops Kitchen


Good day FAM
Trust your week was awesome yeah?.....Anyway today we will be learning how to make a simple and delicious ROCK CAKE...yeah you read right😁
Let's go shall we👇

INGREDIENTS
1.500g of All purpose flour
2. 30g of Baking powder
3. 90g of Currants
4. 125g Caster sugar
5.60g Eggs
6. 3g of Salt
7.30g Citrus peel ( optional)
8. 120g of Butter
9. 180g Milk


DIRECTIONS.
1. Sieve the flour, baking powder and salt in a sizeable bowl
2. Dissolve the sugar in the eggs 3. Rub the butter into the flour to form a crumb mix
4. Add the currants
5. Add the milk to achieve a smooth mix
6. Grease the baking sheet will little butter
7.Divide the portions evenly Into small portion approximately 50g each and place the mixture  on the greased baking sheet
8. Eggwash
9. Sprinkle caster sugar
10.Bake for 15-20 minutes at 210°C until it turns golden brown
