A BEAUTIFUL POEM FOR MOTHERS- Hamz Musings

MOTHERS

 She rises before the sun
Up before the day's dawn

Hers are the hands that beat
Hers are the same that hold
Hers is the mouth that scolds
Hers is the same that kisses

She's a farmer for she tends
She's a doctor for she cares
She's a teacher for she grooms
And a lawyer for she defends
She's a warrior for she fights
She's a seeker and a keeper
She's a coach and a believer
And an angel for she could be no less

Her love is twice as bright as the sun
Her passion, thrice a stable

And when the day is done
Look in those eyes
What you see really isn't exhaustion
But a well of emotions
As deep and rich as they're varied

It's fierce pride and gentle love
It's stern warning and loving approval
And a willingness to do it all over again
When another day comes.
