Tecno is a well known brand in this part of the world and its latest smartphone has a lot to say about the Chinese OEM. The Tecno Camon CM is a nice looking smartphone that features the much coveted 18:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with a bezel-less display which is the first from Tecno. However,  the Tecno Camon CM smartphone will still more or less be categorized as entry-level smartphone because of its spec sheet.

*Design and Display*

Tecno Camon CM is one good looking beauty of a smartphone with a polycarbonate build. Since the advent of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and other high end flagships there has been an increased number of bezel-less display in the smartphone market as young brands are trying to create a cheaper alternative or wannabe device that is available for low budget buyers.

Tecno equips its new smartphone with an HD+ display which is in par with other smartphones in its category. Here, you have an impressive high screen to body ratio thanks to the minimal bezel. The Tecno Camon CM comes with a 5.7-inch 1440 x 720 pixels display with a pixel density of 282 ppi and a colourful display at that.


*Battery and Camera*

Not much is on the Tecno Camon CM in terms of battery capacity as it comes with a rather mediocre 3, 000mAh Li-Po battery. The battery is also removable so you can always swap it out if you want to which is not something you see every day in recent smartphones.

If you’re a picture enthusiast or you intend to get a budget smartphone for snapchat or instagram and other related social media activities this one the smartphones to consider. Although there’s no comparison with other high-end smartphones. The Tecno Camon CM comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera as well, both with LED flash.

*Hardware and Software*

When it comes to what is running the smartphone on the inside it is in a way disappointing that there’s a rather low grade hardware in place. Tecno Camon CM features a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with a frequency of 1.25GHz. For handling graphics on the smartphone, you have an ARM Mali-T720 MP2 GPU.

In addition to this, the Tecno Camon CM has a 2GB RAM and a 16GB built-in storage expandable up to 128GB with a MicroSD card. The smartphone runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat with hopefully an Oreo update in the future.

*Network*

The tecno camon cm supports a 4G LTE bands 1 (800), 3 (1800), 7 (2600), 20 (800) that helps to speed up the process of downloads and uploads.

*Pricing and Availability*

The Tecno Camon CM which was recently released is available for sale in various smartphone retail outlets  around the country and on a number of Online shopping platforms. Tecno Camon CM price in Nigeria starts at about 44, 895 Naira depending on your location and the vendor of course.
