VOCAB BUILDING WITH STEPHANIE
Good day TTB followers and welcome to Vocab Building.
Join me as we explore words from weird, to archaic, to long and short, simple and complex, to even slang words.
Word of the week:
Verbose- Using or containing a great and usually an excessive number of words; wordy.
For example: “She was too verbose in her narrative.”
Slang of the week:
Argy-bargy — An argument or heated confrontation.
For example: “I’m not interested in getting into an argy-bargy over it.”
Try and incorporate these into your everyday English and be back for more next week.
